What companies ask us
Is a Safety Technician mandatory in Greece?
Yes. Every business with at least one employee must have a Safety Technician under Law 3850/2010, as codified in the Greek Labour Code (P.D. 62/2025). In small category B and C businesses with up to 20 employees, the law allows the employer or an employee to take on the duties under conditions, after specific training.
What is the GEEK (written risk assessment)?
The Written Occupational Risk Assessment (GEEK) records the hazards of every job position and the prevention measures. Every employer must have one, regardless of headcount (Article 534 of P.D. 62/2025, formerly Article 43 of Law 3850/2010).
What determines the hours and cost of a Safety Technician?
The risk category of the business (A, B or C, set by its activity code) and the number of employees. Our hours calculator gives a first estimate; we confirm the exact category before every quote.
What must an employer do after a workplace accident?
Report it within 24 hours to the Labour Inspectorate and to e-EFKA, and also to the police in case of serious injury or death, keeping unchanged all evidence that can help establish the causes (Article 534(2) of P.D. 62/2025, as amended by Law 5239/2025).
Where do you work and in which language?
